The Lady of the Hour
I would like to say that I believe in the person, rather than the party. It's important that whoever represents us is bright, thoughtful, strong and a representative of all the people. My friend of 22 years, Dianne Feinstein, is just that person. She was feted the other night at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel by her friends as a thank you for all her great service. Governor Jerry Brown, Mayor Villaraigosa, Comptroller Wendy Greuel (please vote for her for mayor), Zev Yaroslavsky, Sweet Alice Harris, Jan Perry, Richard Bloom---so many leaders were there to cheer for her. And so many non-elected but civic-minded supporters were there as well, including Roz Wyman, chair of the event, Jean Firstenberg, John Emerson and daughter Jackie, Bill Carrick, Trevor Daley, Vicki Reynolds and Murray Pepper, Bronya and Andy Galef, Bobbie Elliott, Brian Hennigan, Nancy Malone, Linda Hope.......it numbers almost 300 that night. Bless you, Dianne
