I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, THIS OSCAR SHOW, BUT, DUE TO LACK OF A WELL-KNOWN BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE, I KNEW THE RATINGS WOULD DROP.
They were lower than 2016, and 2016 was lower than 2015. The great news is that they stayed steady and didn't drop in the last hour anywhere, but, particularly not on the east coast. The show is a goldmine for ABC, regardless.
And did anybody notice how great the commercials were? They were much better than the Super Bowl.
