DEREK AND JULIANNE WERE SOLD OUT at the Orpheum in downtown Los Angeles It was a perfect venue, full of grand architecture and roomy enough that all the dancers could come into the audience and dance with them.
MOVE LIVE is a high-powered show that never stops. I didn't count, but there probably were eight back-up dancers---four women and four men, and they were sensational. There were solo Julianne numbers; solo Derek numbers; Derek-Julianne dance and song duets; songs by each. They did everything from Hip-Hop to Broadway to rock and country. It was a terrific, high-energy fun fest.
Both Derek and Julianne are triple-threats--dancing, singing and acting. It will be really fun seeing where their careers go in the future.
