THE KIM NOVAK NEW YORK TO LONDON QUEEN MARY 2 ADVENTURE PART ONE

NEW YORK          PAPAYA KING. IT ALWAYS STARTS HERE.

LOVED, LOVED LOVED THIS SHOW. REAL NY THEATRICAL MAGIC!!!

YOU HAVE TO EAT AFTER---SO THANK YOU CARNEGIE DELI

STUFFED CABBAGE

I have several "food homes" in NY depending what I want.
If you're not having caviar at Petrossian after the theatre....

IT'S SAIL AWAY DAY ON THE QUEEN MARY 2

I lectured and Kim introduced "Vertigo" and "Bell, Book and Candle." Then together we did a Q and A. That was the business, although it was SO MUCH FUN. The playing is the jazz in the Chart Room, the Ascot Ball, the Black and White Ball, lunches in the pub, tea in the Queen's Room.....
Just glorious.

Passing the Statue of Liberty as we depart

Off we go!

Afternoon tea in the Queen's Room
Gail Sackloff, OBE and Queen Mary 2 Captain Oprey.

Gail Sackloff was honored by the Queen for her expertise in exporting British fashion and goods. Gail discovered Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney, and many others, creating a tremendous demand for the British Fashion industry. She is a frequent Cunard passenger and a friend of Kim's and mine who arranged a lot for us on this trip. She also had a lovely cocktail party for the Captain and his wife, Cheryl, and her favorite officers and crew members in her suite.

Kim's husband, Dr. Robert Malloy absolutely loved his voyage and stay in London.
Well, you see everything on ships. There was a large group of Amish people on board going to visit the Old Country. It was quite amusing to see them in full drag with their bare feet and ipads lounging on the deck.
