STOP BEATING UP MEGYN KELLY

BELOW IS A HEADLINE FROM ONE OF THE MANY PIECES FROM VANITY FAIR'S VARIOUS MEDIA PLATFORMS.

CAN MEGYN KELLY OUTRUN HER NBC “NIGHTMARE”?
The broadcaster’s first month at the network has been full of surprises, and not the kind anyone wants. Can she put it behind her?

Why is it that people like to tear people like Megyn apart after they become successful? I'll tell you why----they're jealous. Megyn is a pretty, intelligent, and now wealthy blonde. What could be more hateful and threatening to the others secretly wishing they were she? It's so obvious. They are watching every ratings point and eyebrow raise and commenting on it. And VANITY FAIR is, by no means, the only culprit, I have read or seen NO positive coverage of her.

By the way, I don't even like or dislike Megyn. She's just a symbol of what keeps happening.

The Sunday slot opposite 60 MINUTES was always going to be difficult. She's performing just fine. When she gets to TODAY, they're going to try and kill her again.

And I can't help mentioning that most of these ugly stories are written by women. Sadly, that's typical. No matter how hard I worked (like by founding Women in Film,) or how hard Gloria Steinem and Marlo Thomas work, women are women's worst enemy. As little girls we are taught to be competitive over men and clothes, either directly or subliminally through advertising. Boys learn at an early age to form teams and compete. They play well in the sandbox for a common goal.

Women just keep bashing each other in the end. And, in business, it's about the money and the position, because, there are simply fewer jobs available to women. That needs to change. The world needs to change. I'm so sick of the nastiness.
