INSIDE THE OSCARS GREEN ROOM

THIS YEAR'S GREEN ROOM WAS DESIGNED BY DAVID ROCKWELL. HE AND ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST DID THE ROOM.

There I was, alone in the green room, eating an avocado sandwich, and within 15 minutes I was surrounded by Kevin Spacey, Ewan MacGregor, Bradley Cooper, Daniel Day-Lewis, Christoph Waltz, and Kerry Washington. None of them ate anything. Too bad. The catering by City View was delicious. No pictures. It's not appropriate in that room.

The Green Room is actually two rooms; one indoors and one an outside patio for smoking. I absolutely loved David Rockwell's designs--particularly the couches, which seemed to have square burlwood arms, and the individual coffee tables that looked like gold boxes that were degenerating from the outside in. Too hard to describe, but they were smashing.

Amazing---you order what kind of coffee drink you want by touching Samsung phone and it sends message to coffee machine

I couldn't help myself in the garage. Of course Kristin Gore drives a Prius
