THIS FABULOUS, COMMERCIAL, AUDIENCE-PLEASER IS THE BRAIN-CHILD OF PRODUCER SCOTT STANDER
Scott came up with the idea to use pro-dancers from "Dancing with the Stars" and finalists of "So You Think You can Dance," along with finalists from "American Idol," to put together delightful musical numbers saluting the most famous musicals in our history. The show is a joy, and is touring the country right now. Imagine seeing "Grease," "West Side Story," Chicago," "Singing in the Rain," and "The Matrix" (just to name a few) all in the same show! This concept can tour for years.
And, as if that's not enough, Scott brings in music legends like Oscar Nominee Lesley Ann Warren or Oscar Winner Shirley Jones (different cities) to do "star solos" in each act.

"Dancing" pros Anna Trebunskaya and Dmitri Chaplin were in the show I saw. Lacey Schwimmer and Karina Smirnoff have also done the spots on the tour. The featured vocalists were "American Idol" finalists Vonzell and Rayvon. Their voices were extraordinary.
A word about Lesley Ann Warren......yes, you all probably know we're close friends.I DON'T CARE. She has that extraordinary inner fire presence that makes people a star, whether it is o film, Broadway, TV, or in concert. Her first song was "Moon River," which she sang as if it were an entire play in one song. In addition she did a beautiful balletic dance with the grace of the finest ballerina. Her second number, the sultry "Blue in the Night," was jaw-dropping, with the sexiest moves and highest kicks you could imagine. Wow!
