DOESN'T THE PICTURE BELOW MAKE YOU FEEL FUZZY AND SAFE?
FOR WEEKS, CRAYOLA HAS BEEN TEASING AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF "RETIRING A COLOR. Frankly, I was worried to death about Burnt Umber. That name always intrigued me as a child. Burnt Umber? What's an umber? Why is it burning? And, it's kind of ugly. BUT, I DIDN'T WANT IT TO GO AWAY. That would have been like throwing my childhood in a trash can.
GOOD NEWS: DANDELION IS GOING
WHOEVER HEARD OF THAT COLOR? WHO CARES? BURNT UMBER IS SAFE.
But, there will be a replacement for dandelion. Hmmmmm. Can't wait. Another tease.
